DCI4PL - An Evolution of Freight Management

Twenty years ago the 3PL freight management service was born. It changed how suppliers ship to hospitals and helped reduce a $1B a year inflated supplier freight cost.

Currently, the offerings from 3PL’s lack retrospection and open the gates to complacency; resulting in the savings offered to the hospital dwindling.

The future and next generation of hospital systems freight management is the DCI4PL model. DCI4PL is an independent freight management consultant firm that works exclusively on behalf of their hospital client; negotiating new 3PL and direct carrier agreements that result in 20-40% cost reduction.

NCI and Gary Galloway (DCI4PL founder) worked in concert to change the landscape of hospital freight management in the past and are working together again to evolve the space.

Swovo Medical Disinfecting Wipes utilize a formulation that has been around since 1992. Chances are your facility is utilizing either a PDI Super Sani, CAVI, or Clorox product. Mark One controls all elements of their product, from sourcing materials, manufacturing, logistics, and ultimately cost. The Swovo product is nearly identical with an IPA/Quat formulation, a 2-minute kill time, same kill-claims, same look and feel of your current brand, and same GSM substrate(cloth).
